The small town of Nin is located ina a shallow lagoon about 14 km far from the town of Zadar. Nin was one of the main settlements of the Liburnians until the arrival of the Roman conquerors, and since then the proud Municipium named Aenona. It is the oldest town, the residence of the Croatian Kings, which was a very important harbour in those centuries. The medicinal peloid of Nin has served the curative purposes since the Roman times till now. Nin and the surrounding tourist resorts welcome their guests tourists with the nicely furnished private apartments, rooms, and their small idylic campsites.
